Thanks, Barb. He was investigating the camera. I think he was hoping he could nick it.
I was trying to get up to speed on feather striations to help with some watercolors.

He seems to like his cagemates, the silkies, not least because they provide him with eggs. They’re learning his duplicitous ways

I enjoy having him here. I need to break out the sketch pad one day and draw him for a few hours. Once it gets warm, anyway. Photos sometimes miss the picky little details.
I also like that his extended family comes to visit both in the morning and early evening. he’s not entirely missing his species socialization.
