It’s kind of like deja-vu because I feel like I’ve been this age since, oh, 1992. The camera’s having troubles, otherwise I’d have posted pictures of the mules helping me celebrate by mobbing me for their post-mudbath brushing.
All I can say is I’m in pretty good shape, except for my right ankle, the small of my back, my elbow sometimes, the cholesterol thing, and those nagging symptoms of early onset pretty much everything.
Couple of muscle relaxers and a shot of whiskey and I can still swing from the trees with the rhesus monkeys.

I had a nice glass of wine and put myself to bed with my aches. Unfortunately I had to return “Wild Decembers ” to the library yesterday, before I’d finished reading it, otherwise I’d have skimmed that for five or six minutes before I crashed.
I’ll have to order a set of Edna O’Brien through Nancy’s Amazon page.

It’s mine, too, Coz, only I’m 23 years ahead of you. Best to you and I’ve already had your drink tonight.

I would have had a little more to drink for my birthday, but the electrician is motoring out this way today to connect the shop to the house. It’s about four hundred feet away. Should be fun.

You likewise, Blue!
I should have a new post this evening. It just takes me so long anymore to realize anything has happened. Not that I was ever a quick study.

Happy 50th. I wish that’s all I had wrong with me. Continued good health.

Hope you had a great one. Jack Nicholson said “Forty wasn’t anything but fifty is no damn good.” I started falling apart at 56 and now I am well into my sixties…Nicholson was right, but he’s past 70 and still moseying along…
